The personal information we collect will depend on how you interact with Top 100 Leaders.
If you submit a nomination

- your relationship to the nominee;
- nomination and payment information; and
- any correspondence you have with us.
If you are nominated
Information provided about you may include:
- your name;
- job title, role and organisation;
- email address and telephone number;
- location;
- professional and leadership experience;
- information about your leadership behaviours, achievements, impact and contribution;
- examples or stories provided in support of your nomination;
- publicly available professional information, including LinkedIn or company profile information;
- photographs or other supporting material, where provided; and
- other information relevant to assessing your nomination.
We ask nominators to provide only information that is reasonably relevant to the nomination and that they reasonably believe to be accurate.
If information about you is provided to us by another person, we may contact you to advise you that you have been nominated, explain how your personal information is being used and provide you with an opportunity to correct your information or advise us that you do not wish to participate.
Please do not provide sensitive or highly personal information about another person unless it is genuinely relevant to the nomination and you have an appropriate basis for providing it.
3. Why We Collect Personal Information
We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:
- receiving and administering nominations;
- confirming nomination information;
- processing nomination payments;
- communicating with nominators and nominees;
- assessing nominations against the Top 100 Leaders criteria;
- providing information to authorised judges or assessment panel members;
- verifying information contained within a nomination where reasonably necessary;
- selecting and notifying recognised Top 100 Leaders;
- preparing profiles and recognition material for successful nominees;
- administering announcements, events, publications and promotional activities associated with Top 100 Leaders;

- issuing receipts or tax invoices;
- maintaining appropriate business and financial records;
- improving the Top 100 Leaders program and website;
- protecting the integrity of the nomination and assessment process; and

Personal information collected through a nomination will not be sold to third parties.
4. Information About Nominees
A nomination will usually involve a nominator providing us with personal information about another person.
By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms that:
- the information provided is, to the best of their knowledge, accurate;
- the information has been provided genuinely for the purposes of the Top 100 Leaders program; and
- they understand that Top 100 Leaders may contact the nominee regarding the nomination.
Where reasonably practicable, we will notify nominees that their information has been provided to us.
A nominee may contact us if they do not wish to participate in the Top 100 Leaders program or would like information provided about them to be corrected.
5. Assessment and Judging
Nomination information may be provided to members of the Top 100 Leaders judging or assessment panel for the purpose of evaluating nominations.
Judges will treat nomination information confidentially and use it only for the assessment and administration of the Top 100 Leaders program.
6. Public Recognition of Successful Nominees
Top 100 Leaders is a public recognition program. If a nominee is selected for recognition, we may seek to publish information including their name, photograph, job title, organisation and location.
This information may appear on the Top 100 Leaders website, social media, digital publications, media releases, promotional materials, events or other communications relating to the program.
We will contact successful nominees before publishing their recognition and will provide appropriate information about how their profile and recognition may be used.
We will not publish private contact details such as personal telephone numbers, residential addresses or private email addresses as part of a public recognition profile.
7. Payment Information
Payments associated with nominations are processed through third-party payment provider Stripe.
Payment information is provided directly to Stripe and is handled in accordance with Stripe's own privacy and security practices.
Top 100 Leaders does not receive or store your complete credit or debit card details. We may receive transaction information necessary to confirm payment, issue receipts, manage refunds where applicable and maintain appropriate financial records.
8. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information:
- through nomination and other online forms;
- when you make a payment;
- when you contact us by email, telephone, social media or through our website;
- from nominators;
- from nominees;
- through website analytics, cookies and similar technologies.
If you choose not to provide information required as part of a nomination, we may be unable to accept, assess or administer the nomination.
9. Website, Cookies and Analytics
When you access our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:

Where you have consented to receive broader news, updates or promotional communications from us, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option contained within the communication or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending administrative communications reasonably required to manage an existing nomination or recognition.

We may hold personal information electronically and, where necessary, in physical records.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
These measures may include appropriate access controls, password protection, secure technology systems and limiting access to people who require the information for legitimate business purposes.
